IT’S YOUR CHOICE ** CHOOSE

Which Path Do You Choose?

God’s Love for His creation shows His patience and commitment to grow His children in Faith.

James 1: 2-18 NIV

Trials and Temptations

2 Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, 3 because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. 4 Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.

5 If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you. 6 But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. 7 That person should not expect to receive anything from the Lord. 8 Such a person is double-minded and unstable in all they do.

9 Believers in humble circumstances ought to take pride in their high position. 10 But the rich should take pride in their humiliation—since they will pass away like a wild flower. 11 For the sun rises with scorching heat and withers the plant; its blossom falls and its beauty is destroyed. In the same way, the rich will fade away even while they go about their business.

12 Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him.

13 When tempted, no one should say, “God is tempting me.” For God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does he tempt anyone;14 but each person is tempted when they are dragged away by their own evil desire and enticed. 15 Then, after desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, gives birth to death.

16 Don’t be deceived, my dear brothers and sisters. 17 Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows. 18 He chose to give us birth through the word of truth, that we might be a kind of firstfruits of all he created

Jesus’ prayer for all His disciples, as recorded in John 17, includes that they will remain in the world, but not be of the world. Believers get to choose God’s will or their own will for their life, God will never force his will on you, it’s your choice.

In every trial, believers face the temptation to focus on self:

Why did this go wrong? Why did God let this happen? Why did this happen to me?

James commands believers to move past, “Why me?” to ask, “What will I do now?”

James gives the answer – Live by Faith.

James gives believers practical ways to practice our faith so we show all people everywhere the love of God.

  • Respond with Joy. This joy comes when believers trust and obey the Spirit regardless of circumstances.
  • Persevere in Faith. Spiritual maturity develops by tests (practice) to respond in God’s way to situations.
  • Gain Wisdom. God fills in when tests reveal doubts, weaknesses and confusion about how to proceed.
  • Be Humble. Who has Christ, yet feels sorry for self? Pity the “rich” who take pride in things that end.
  • Expect Blessings. Perseverance shows the power of salvation and grows our anticipation to see Jesus.
  • Resist Deception. God never temps anyone. God never desires any person to sin.
  • Trust God. Nothing good can be gained apart from God. Nothing bad comes from his hand.

John 17 NKJV

Jesus Prays for Himself

17 Jesus spoke these words, lifted up His eyes to heaven, and said: “Father, the hour has come. Glorify Your Son, that Your Son also may glorify You, 2 as You have given Him authority over all flesh, that He should give eternal life to as many as You have given Him.

3 And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent. 4 I have glorified You on the earth. I have finished the work which You have given Me to do. 5 And now, O Father, glorify Me together with Yourself, with the glory which I had with You before the world was.

Jesus Prays for His Disciples

6 “I have manifested Your name to the men whom You have given Me out of the world. They were Yours, You gave them to Me, and they have kept Your word. 7 Now they have known that all things which You have given Me are from You.

8 For I have given to them the words which You have given Me; and they have received them, and have known surely that I came forth from You; and they have believed that You sent Me.

9 “I pray for them. I do not pray for the world but for those whom You have given Me, for they are Yours. 10 And all Mine are Yours, and Yours are Mine, and I am glorified in them.11 Now I am no longer in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to You. Holy Father, keep through Your name those whom You have given Me, that they may be one as We are.

12 While I was with them in the world, I kept them in Your name. Those whom You gave Me I have kept; and none of them is lost except the son of perdition, that the Scripture might be fulfilled. 13 But now I come to You, and these things I speak in the world, that they may have My joy fulfilled in themselves.

14 I have given them Your word; and the world has hated them because they are not of the world, just as I am not of the world. 15 I do not pray that You should take them out of the world, but that You should keep them from the evil one.16 They are not of the world, just as I am not of the world.

17 Sanctify them by Your truth. Your word is truth. 18 As You sent Me into the world, I also have sent them into the world.19 And for their sakes I sanctify Myself, that they also may be sanctified by the truth.

Jesus Prays for All Believers

20 “I do not pray for these alone, but also for those who will believe in Me through their word; 21 that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me.

22 And the glory which You gave Me I have given them, that they may be one just as We are one: 23 I in them, and You in Me; that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that You have sent Me, and have loved them as You have loved Me.

24 “Father, I desire that they also whom You gave Me may be with Me where I am, that they may behold My glory which You have given Me; for You loved Me before the foundation of the world.

25 O righteous Father! The world has not known You, but I have known You; and these have known that You sent Me.26 And I have declared to them Your name, and will declare it, that the love with which You loved Me may be in them, and I in them.”

My hope is that we all choose the will of God for our lives, He has great things planned out for our lives.

We just need to have the Faith to Trust Him and Live our life in His will.

My choice is:

I Choose God’s Will for my Life.

Blessings,

BLOOM

Are You Growing Where You Are Planted?

In this time of our lives we need to be grounded firm in our faith and have a strong foundation. I have heard the saying, “Bloom where you are planted“, and you know that can be one of the hardest things for some people to do.

What Does It Mean To Bloom?

  • To mature into achievement of one’s potential.
  • To flourish in youthful beauty, freshness, or excellence.
  • To shine out.

Growing

When you are listening to the voice of God and doing his word, you will know that your in the right place in life. Finding your place is not easy, if your not listening to that still small voice directing your life.

Practice listening by Praying, Worshiping with music and soaking in the Spirit of God.

You will Grow and Bloom when you realize that where ever you are, you have the best opportunity to excel in All you put your mind and hard work to.

So, Bloom where you are Planted, don’t waste your time complaining about things going on around you.

Dig in, Grow deep roots, Listen & Learn and Grow Strong!

You Will Bloom and Flourish when you are Planted in Strong Ground!

Listen to the Voice of God, He will lead and guide you…

Blessings,

LIFE ** LIFE IS A GIFT

LIFE

What is life to you?

Are you enjoying the ride of life?, Going day by day? or Just existing?

We can get to a point where life becomes just another day or we can learn to embrace life and enjoy it, no matter what comes our way.

There can be so many things that can get to us and bring us down along this life.

Hopefully, we will remember that Life is a Gift from God and He has great plans for us.

My Life now

I know with me, I can take things to heart to easy when people say things.

That can lead to me getting sad, depressed and just not wanting to be around others. It’s so hard when your body is hurting and you just don’t feel good, it is hard to look at life different.

But I know it’s a choice to make, when I wake up, I choose to have a good or bad day. To be happy to my family or snap at them, no matter what pain I’m feeling.

I have days when I can handle eveything going on with my body, but then there are days like this weekend, that my body is handling me. Pain is not a game people play with, It Hurts! It can take a strong person and make them weak.

This weekend has been a test for me and I know that I can get through the body pain if I don’t give into the pressure in and around me.

No matter what you may feel about life when going through it, remember to keep pushing and going through it. Don’t stop in the middle of your pain or sadness, keep going.

Your miracle could be one step away.

For me I Believe Better days are ahead, I just have to keep believing…

 Keep Living Life

One of the biggest things I have learned over the last five years of being sick is to keep pushing and never give up.

There may be days to have a good cry and there may be days to have a good laugh, but either way keep pushing your way till you get your break through.

Find things to keep you focused that you enjoy doing. For me Blogging has helped so much, I use to love to sing, but my voice isn’t what it used to be. Blogging has gave me a way to feel apart of something again.

So, find your thing that makes you feel apart of something and enjoy it.

Don’t just sit and think life will go on and no one will think of me, find that place or thing that makes you feel alive again. Keep Living Life no matter what your going through.

Life is a Gift and we should share our Gift with as many people as we can by showing the Love of God to them.

Be there for one another, Help in anyway possible, Say Hi, Send a Card or Flowers, Just let them know they are loved and cared for. It makes a huge difference in a persons life.

Remember this one thing, Actions are Bigger than Words. People will remember and need your kindness and visits, especially when there sickness keeps on and on.

I Pray Blessings over your life and your families life,

Renea

The Lord’s Prayer

Our Father, which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy Name.

Thy Kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, As it is in heaven.

As we forgive those that trespass against us.

And lead us not into temptation,

But deliver us from evil.

For thine is the kingdom,

The power, and the glory,

For ever and ever.

Put Your Trust In Jesus, He Cares For You!!

Put Your Trust In Jesus

Good morning, it’s 1:55 am here in Alabama, the day after Christmas 2020. What a Blessed Christmas season this has been, we spent our first Christmas at home together this year not getting to go to family get togethers, because of Covid, but our health is very important and we have to look out for eachother.

What the enemy meant for our bad with Covid, we have grown closer together as family and friends this year, getting to know and help eachother like never before. Through the good and the bad times, we have showed what true love and friendship is. Let’s never give up being strong and helping one another. Keep your Faith and Trust in Jesus.

Throughout this year one thing everyone should have learned is to put your trust in Jesus, man has failed and dissappointed us in so many ways. There lying and cheating us is enough! It’s time we put all our trust in Jesus and let Him take care of this world and us!

Innocence

One of the saddest things I have seen over my lifetime is the innocence of the youth stolen from them. When I was a child my family went through alot. My mom couldn’t handle taking care of her kids and herself so family stepped in and tried to shield us and protect us.

The enemy will try and do anything to still innocence from young and old, So that means we have to work harder at protecting that innocence for them. My family always was there for me and my siblings and took us in at young ages and raised us, protecting us.

I remember even watching the news as a child it was different and TV in general was completely different. News was News not opinions and TV had alot more family friendly shows on it. These days cussing is on almost everything plus all the other things that are perverted, they just want to take innocence away from everyone starting at a young age.

Stand Up For What Is Right

Are we ready to protect the innocence of our young and old?

Are we ready to put our Trust in Jesus?

Can life be normal again? Yes

Putting our Trust in Jesus is what will save this world.

  • God Knows Better Than We Do

God knows everything we are going through at this very moment and everything we will go through in the future. He knows the best way to handle every situation so we get the best possible outcome and we need to trust him with that. We need to follow his path and trust that he knows best, because he does.

“But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind.” – James 1:6

  • All Things Are Possible With God

God knows the desires of your heart. If you trust in Him with the things that concern you, He will take care of them. He knows what is best for your life. If you feel like your goals are impossible to achieve, think again. Anything is Possible with God. He has your back and will help you through Anything, all you have to do is have Faith.

“‘If you can’?” said Jesus. “Everything is possible for one who believes.” – Mark 9:23

  • God Is Worthy Of Our Trust

Having Faith is having Trust. Trusting God is putting your Full Trust in Him with your entire being and knowing that God has your back no matter what and that He will take care of you. God knows what is best for you, and to truly embrace what he has planned your life, you must fully Trust Him. Our Trust is not foolish, for our God is both Faithful and Good. Dig into the Scriptures and Acquaint yourself with the promises of God, with His longsuffering, faithfulness to the Israelites, to Abraham, to all of us. Get to know the character of God and your joy and willingness to Trust in Him will abound.

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight” – Proverbs 3:5-6

  • God Cares for you

Gods ways are higher than our ways, His thoughts are wiser than ours, but yet we still doubt Him and think He doestn’t care for us. It’s time we only listen to Gods voice and ignore the false one making us doubt. Jesus Cares For You, He died on the cross and rose from the dead for our sins, that we can go to Heaven and live forever when we die, if we Believe and Trust in Him, Heaven will Be our home forever and ever. That’s something to get excited about!!!

Let’s Put Our Trust In Jesus For He Cares For Us!

No Matter What We Have Done, He has arms wide open, “Saying Come Home Your Sins Are Forgiven, If You Will Believe”.

Jesus Paid It All, All To Him I Owe, Sin had left a crimson stain, He washed it white as snow

MATTHEW ** JESUS BIRTH

BIRTH OF JESUS

The Birth of Jesus Christ change the World! We can go Boldly Before the Throne of Grace now, because of a baby that was born and grew up to give His life for Our sins on a Cross that we might choose to go to Heaven and Not hell.

I wanted to share with you just a little of the Birth of Jesus and how God Ordained Every Part of it.

Matthew Chapter 1:16-25

16 and Jacob the father of Joseph the husband of Mary, of whom Jesus was born, who is called Christ.

17 So all the generations from Abraham to David were fourteen generations, and from David to the deportation to Babylon fourteen generations, and from the deportation to Babylon to the Christ fourteen generations.

The Birth of Jesus Christ

18 Now the birth of Jesus Christ took place in this way. When his mother Mary had been betrothed to Joseph, before they came together she was found to be with child from the Holy Spirit. 19 And her husband Joseph, being a just man and unwilling to put her to shame, resolved to divorce her quietly.20 But as he considered these things, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, “Joseph, son of David, do not fear to take Mary as your wife, for that which is conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit. 21 She will bear a son, and you shall call his name Jesus, for he will save his people from their sins.” 22 All this took place to fulfill what the Lord had spoken by the prophet:

23 “Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son,
and they shall call his name Immanuel”

(which means, God with us). 24 When Joseph woke from sleep, he did as the angel of the Lord commanded him: he took his wife, 25 but knew her not until she had given birth to a son. And he called his name Jesus.

Chapter 2

The Visit of the Wise Men

Now after Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea in the days of Herod the king, behold, wise men[a] from the east came to Jerusalem, 2 saying, “Where is he who has been born king of the Jews? For we saw his star when it rose[b] and have come to worship him.”

3 When Herod the king heard this, he was troubled, and all Jerusalem with him; 4 and assembling all the chief priests and scribes of the people, he inquired of them where the Christ was to be born. 5 They told him, “In Bethlehem of Judea, for so it is written by the prophet:

6 “‘And you, O Bethlehem, in the land of Judah,
are by no means least among the rulers of Judah;
for from you shall come a ruler
who will shepherd my people Israel.’”

7 Then Herod summoned the wise men secretly and ascertained from them what time the star had appeared. 8 And he sent them to Bethlehem, saying, “Go and search diligently for the child, and when you have found him, bring me word, that I too may come and worship him.” 9 After listening to the king, they went on their way. And behold, the star that they had seen when it rose went before them until it came to rest over the place where the child was.

10 When they saw the star, they rejoiced exceedingly with great joy. 11 And going into the house, they saw the child with Mary his mother, and they fell down and worshiped him. Then, opening their treasures, they offered him gifts, gold and frankincense and myrrh. 12 And being warned in a dream not to return to Herod, they departed to their own country by another way.

The Flight to Egypt

13 Now when they had departed, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a dream and said, “Rise, take the child and his mother, and flee to Egypt, and remain there until I tell you, for Herod is about to search for the child, to destroy him.”

14 And he rose and took the child and his mother by night and departed to Egypt 15 and remained there until the death of Herod. This was to fulfill what the Lord had spoken by the prophet, “Out of Egypt I called my son.”

Herod Kills the Children

16 Then Herod, when he saw that he had been tricked by the wise men, became furious, and he sent and killed all the male children in Bethlehem and in all that region who were two years old or under, according to the time that he had ascertained from the wise men. 17 Then was fulfilled what was spoken by the prophet Jeremiah:

18 “A voice was heard in Ramah,
weeping and loud lamentation,
Rachel weeping for her children;
she refused to be comforted, because they are no more.”

The Return to Nazareth

19 But when Herod died, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared in a dream to Joseph in Egypt, 20 saying, “Rise, take the child and his mother and go to the land of Israel, for those who sought the child’s life are dead.” 21 And he rose and took the child and his mother and went to the land of Israel.

22 But when he heard that Archelaus was reigning over Judea in place of his father Herod, he was afraid to go there, and being warned in a dream he withdrew to the district of Galilee. 23 And he went and lived in a city called Nazareth, so that what was spoken by the prophets might be fulfilled, that he would be called a Nazarene.
