WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO WORSHIP ** SPIRIT AND TRUTH

Worship In Spirit And Truth

To me to Worship in Spirit and Truth, is to Give My All to God.

  • My Focus
  • My Life
  • My Time
  • My Will
  • My Emotions

But Most of All, My Love and Adoration for All He has done for me in my life.

When you turn your life over completely to the Will of God and Want His Plans for your life, that’s when you realize your Life is not your Own.

Most people have a hard time of laying down there will and allowing there self to listen to what God is saying to them.

You have to get to the point where you know without a shadow of a doubt that you are a Child of the King!! Jesus Christ!!

Jesus Loves You!! With an Ever Lasting Love – John 3:16

For God so Loved the World that He gave His only begotten Son, That Whosoever Believeth In Him Should Not Perish but have Everlasting Life!!

7 Ways to Express Worship

1. Barak– To kneel, to bless God, to bow down

“He will rescue the poor when they cry to him; he will help the oppressed, who have no one to defend them…. Long live the king! May the gold of Sheba be given to him, may the people always pray for him and bless him all day long.” –Psalm 72:12-15

Barak means to bow down to, or kneel before, the Lord. It communicates that the Lord holds a place of importance and helps us remember just how great He is. Barak is not done out of a begging attitude but rather an expectant attitude, because the Lord is more than willing and able to move on our behalf.

2. Halal– To be clear, to shine, to boast, to show, to rave, to celebrate, to be clamorously foolish

“David appointed the following Levites to lead the people in worship before the Ark of the Lord—to invoke his blessings, to give thanks, and to praise the Lord, the God of Israel.”

1 Chronicles 16:4

Halal appears more than 110 times in the Old Testament. It translates as to shine, boast, rave about, celebrate or even to be clamorously foolish. Can you imagine a more wondrous noise raving about all the Lord is and all He has done?

3. Shabach– To shout loudly, to command

“Come, everyone! Clap your hands! Shout to God with joyful praise!” –Psalm 47:1

Shabach means to shout loudly or command. Of course, it isn’t simply about being loud. Its focus is to worship the Lord with one’s whole being.

4. Tehillah– To sing praises, singing out of the spirit spontaneously

“But you are holy, O You Who dwell in [the holy place where] the praises of Israel [are offered].” –Psalm 22:3, AMPC

Tehillah means to sing unrehearsed, unplanned praises to the Lord. It can include adding words to an existing song or even singing in the spirit to the Lord.

5. Towdah – Extending hands, acting out of thanksgiving for what has or will be done

“But giving thanks is a sacrifice that truly honors me. If you keep to my path, I will reveal to you the salvation of God.” –Psalm 50:23

Towdah is a type of worship that includes extending your hands or raising them in thanksgiving for something that has been done or will be done.

6. Yadah– Extending the hands vigorously

“After consulting the people, the king appointed singers to walk ahead of the army, singing to the Lord and praising him for his holy splendor. This is what they sang: ‘Give thanks to the Lord; his faithful love endures forever!’”– 2 Chronicles 20:21

Yadah means to extend your hands vigorously as in complete surrender.

7. Zamar – To touch the strings, to make music with instruments, mostly rejoicing

“Praise him with a blast of the ram’s horn; praise him with the lyre and harp! Praise him with the tambourine and dancing; praise him with strings and flutes! Praise him with a clash of cymbals; praise him with loud clanging cymbals. Let everything that breathes sing praises to the Lord! Praise the Lord!” –Psalm 150:3-6

Zamar means to touch the strings. It involves rejoicing and making music to the Lord.

God promises that when we praise and worship Him, He inhabits those praises (Psalm 22:3), and it gives us strength to defeat our enemy (Psalm 8:2).

I Pray that We All will have a Deeper Desire To Worship In Spirit & Truth. Becoming Closer & Closer to Our Father God!!

Foundation Scriptures:

  • • “Thus I will bless You while I live; I will lift up my hands in Your name.” –Psalm 63:4 (NKJV)
  • • “Enter…into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, and bless His name.” –Psalm 100:4 (NKJV)
  • • “Lift up your hands in the sanctuary, and bless the Lord.” –Psalm 134:2 (NKJV)
  • • “Let my prayer be set before You as incense, the lifting up of my hands as the evening sacrifice.” –Psalm 141:2 (NKJV)
  • • “I desire therefore that the men pray everywhere, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting.” – 1 Timothy 2:8 (NKJV)

WORD OF THE DAY ** FAITH

Faith

Faith is Confidence, Trust or Belief in God. Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. Hebrews 11:1

Strong Faith is my Hearts Desire, We are in A Faith battle.

I realized that in 2015 when Sarcoidosis sickness hit me, literally upside my head, That Faith is A Weapon and ever time the battle rages, Our Faith Will Fight for us.

Build your Faith, it isn’t your pastor’s, your spouse’s or God’s responsibility. Faith is Your Responsibility to Grow!

The only one who can Guarantee that you Enjoy a Strong Faith is YOU. Feeding your Faith is planting the seed; Hearing the Word over and over again and again, is how you water your seed and Build Your Faith!

I Read this in a devotion the other day and it has stayed with me, We put burglar alarms on our cars, houses, etc., but what kind of alarm did you put on your SOUL? Because that’s the only thing the devil is after!

We are the Most Valueable Possession to God and the enemy hates that.

Now More Than Ever Our Faith Has To RISE!!

We Are Children Of The King Of Kings!!

Enjoy Life,

Renea

WORD OF THE DAY ** SIN

SIN

Sin is a word people hate thinking or talking about. It makes us want to run and hide.

During the days we live in, now more than ever, we have to deal with sin.

Realizing that sin will lead to only Heartache and Disaster of your soul is hard for most people to understand.

Because, it pleases for a season in your life, but then when your in too deep, everything falls apart for some and others think that they get a way with it, but sin will always catch up with you.

There is a way out of sin, but not many will listen. In the days we are living in, you have to know that your life is ready to go any day.

The only one who can cleanse our sins is Jesus and He is just waiting for us to call out to Him and ask for forgiveness of our sin and Turn from it.

When we receive Jesus in our heart, we have a choice then to choose to do right or to sin.

I would hope we can make right decisions and choose to not sin. There is so much joy in having a clean conscience and knowing where you will spend eternity.

Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee. Psalms 119:11

Blessings,

Renea

WORD OF THE DAY ** ANGER

ANGER

This world is full of anger. Why? Have you ever just sat and thought about that, I mean its something we all need to really think about.

You turn the news on and their talking about riots, murders and all kinds of things… most of the time we just turn our heads or say a quick prayer.

This is our world also and we need to take a stand for it.

Do you remember when you were young and got into trouble or your anger would get so bad you just exploded, what would happen?

I know in my family we didn’t get away with anything including a smart mouth or angry fits, we would hear, Go get you a switch or the razor strap would come out and after that we wouldn’t want to do anything to get in trouble.

I know this isn’t politically correct, but the one thing I see that’s different is kids are being brought up now being told they can call the authorities on their parents if they try to correct them and they are never learning how to grow up with a healthy mind set.

I believe (This is my own opinion) laws have hurt our children from growing up with discipline in their lives and now we are reaping what has been sowed all these years.

If we want to see rioting, anger and all the evil that’s going on to stop, we have to first show tough love to the ones doing this and second bring discipline back so this never happens again.

I want to add that this is not about beating or hurting children, but about discipline and teaching them what’s right or wrong. How to handle their Emotions and deal with situations that may arise in their lives.

Now I know their are other areas to work on also that lead to this, but we can not allow people to run wild, because of lack of discipline that leads to following and doing anything.

He who withholds his rod hates his son, But he who loves him disciplines him diligently. Proverbs 13:24

Blessings to you & your family,

Renea

WORD OF THE DAY ** RESPECT

RESPECT

Don’t we all want Respect? It seems that in to days world it’s hard to get Respect most of the time.

There is a generation that has been brought up not learning Respect.

When you take time to Listen and Look around you will see what kind of world we are living in today.

There are so many people who live for their self or only want to see certain people happy and not others.

What we Have to Do is Respect, Start by showing Respect to the ones we know to Respect.

Today there are people yelling for no more Police, no more Government… We will have pure Panic and Destruction if Order and Respect does not return back to the Generations.

I Pray that we can All come together and show each other what it means to be in order and save our world for us a better future.

Enjoy Life,

Renea
