WELCOME,

No matter where we are in life, young, old, rich or poor, we all have a hunger for more. More of life to live that makes us happy, healthy, feeling loved, confident, safe and fulfilled!!

Setting Goals

At a certain point in our life we make a decision that we want to live a full life. So we start to look for answers to our questions on how to do that.

When we discover that a full life begins with a dream, All we have to do is enjoy life right where we are by setting goals that will help us achieve the full life we desire.

Below is a list to help make a list of Goals

Start by:

  • Making a list
  • Choosing which goals go in order of first to last
  • Choose something that you’ve wanted to do or accomplish and haven’t done it yet
  • Give yourself time – Very Important
  • List any long-term projects you are working on or plan on undertaking (buying a home, getting a degree, learning an instrument or language, etc.)
  • List any personal habits you would like to eliminate, change, or develop. (Lose weight, stop smoking, stop interrupting, etc.)
  • List any recurring activities you partake in or would like to partake in (gardening, clubs, hobbies, reading, etc)

Making Plans

  • Make a list of what you would like to achieve
  • Write down your goal list you put in order of first to last
  • For each goal you have, write down a few action steps you can take towards achieving your goal.
  • Keep a copy of your plan somewhere accessible where you can read it once a day ** Maybe on the bathroom mirror. Reading your goals daily will help keep you motivated.
  • Tell someone, telling someone we know about our goals also seems to increase the likelihood that we will stick at them.
  • Give yourself time – If you set realistic goals, it takes time to reach your goal, so don’t get discouraged keep going!

Actions / Dreams

  • Start by Eliminating all your Excuses for not taking action
  • Don’t Wait for the Perfect Moment! It will Never Come!
  • Take the First Step:

Achieving / Commitment

  • Create Successful Habits: “Whenever you want to achieve something, keep your eyes open, concentrate and make sure you know exactly what it is you want. No one can hit their target with their eyes closed.” ― Paulo Coelho
  • Be Accountable to someone: “Focus on your goals, not your fear. Focus like a laser beam on your goals.” ― Roy T. Bennett, The Light in the Heart
  • Focus on Smaller Victories: “A goal is not always meant to be reached, it often serves simply as something to aim at.” ― Bruce Lee
  • Develop a deep Hunger: “Reach high, for stars lie hidden in you. Dream deep, for every dream precedes the goal.” ― Rabindranath Tagore

Successful people are persistent (stubborn) toward the pursuit of their goal.

Your goal needs to bring up a purpose and meaning inside of you, so that you will become INSPIRED to attain your goals as opposed to motivated.

  • Take 1 Goal at a Time and Go After It With a Passion!
  • Never try to accomplish All of your goals together ✅ them off as you accomplish them!

This post is right up my alley and something I do now, and always have.  I guess I am a bit OCD and very organized.  I don’t know what I would do without my lists.  I have to do lists, goal lists, etc.  I think that it helps me tremendously to get things done and not put things on the back burner.  Great information for the procrastinator.  Setting goals and putting them down on paper that are achievable work.  Great information.

    I thank you for creating a website like this, with encouraging and motivating individual you keep their focus and make their life to the fullest. 
    Setting a goal really is the key in every aspect wether it be personal, relational, educational, financial and even in Spiritual aspect. All needs to have a target in order to force us to really roll our sleeves up and get to work, I am into it as well and really trying my best to meet the goal I set up to achieve. And honestly commenting here on your website is as well one of my goal for today. To comment at least 5 websites and you are one of the lucky one. 
    So interesting. Keep up the good work and honestly, you are making a very big impact.

  3. You mentioned not to try to acheive all our goals all at once. This, I had never thought of. This year, I decided to work on my discipline because I noticed that when I set a goal, the only reason why I don’t achieve it is due to not having the discipline. However, as far as projects go, you make perfect sense. I just found out I have a 4.0 GPA in my MBA and i’m in my last class. This is a goal I never thought of setting because I never imagined it would happen. This leads me to my thought: I think when we think about our goal a lot, its harder to accomplish.

  4. Thanks, Renea. You’ve said a lot about goal setting. A lot of people underestimate the importance of having a laid down goals. It is very important we do so. Everyone wants to live a life of fulfillment, but it can’t be possible without having a smart goal.

    When we have written goals, it is very important to remove any possibility of procrastination because that alone is another thing that may limit us to the achievement of our goals. I personal know how I went with this.

  5. Thank you very much for an inspiring article. Well done write it. You covered in a very simple, concrete and easy to catch way, the important steps in achieving the goals.

    The 3 main pillars 

    Vision (Dream) – Motion plan (ideas, goals) – Action Plan (to do everything it takes to achieve the goals)

    are critical in every each accomplishment. 

    Personal I am working always with a vision board, where I start from the three pillars to create the entire plan.

    And how you said, is very important to take care at every each goal at a time. Baby steps always will give the confidence and will create a solid base.
