IT WASN’T WHAT THE PEOPLE THOUGHT ABOUT THE ROCK BUT WHAT DAVID THOUGHT ABOUT IT
Do You Really Know Who You Are?
(In the Bible when King David was young we read how he took care of the sheep and had to kill a lion and bear to protect the flock. He only wanted to please God by taking care of his fathers sheep, so after all he had learned and saw he new to trust that God will take care of him that’s why when he picked up the rocks and not the sword to confront Goliath it didn’t matter what the people said, only what God said and Goliath came down by a rock!)
If not for the faith David had as a child he would not have had the boldness to sling the rock and defeat Goliath. Davids whole life had been preparing for his future, yet he didn’t realize it, all he wanted was to please God.
We all go through life either trusting or not trusting. Once our mind starts to wonder away from what God has shown or done for us in our lives, that’s when we get confused and doubt who we are. But if we stand our ground and remember everything God has brought us thru we can conquer those thoughts and rise up knowing who we are.
We are the children of God, that means Your Royalty, think about that Your Royalty. Straighten your crown, stand up straight and hold your head high, Know Who You Are.
You are a Son or Daughter of the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords Jesus Christ!
Believe and Trust Your Heavenly Father by knowing you are His and boldly say I Know Who I Am:
I Am Royalty
A Child of God
I Am Redeemed
I Am Forgiven
I Am Saved
I Am Loved
I Am a Overcomer
I Am Happy
I BELIEVE Jesus died for my sins and rose from the grave and that He is coming back again.
Let’s take a stand and Represent the Kingdom of God by not being fearful but letting the world know Jesus Loves All and He is coming back after His people.
Know who you are and show the world who you are by not being fearful but being bold as a lion and showing your Father God to them.
Get to know yourself by knowing Who you belong to. You Are Royalty, A Son or Daughter of our Lord and Savior.

I love how you talk about trusting in God just like when you brought out the example of David and Goliath. David put trust in God and he was able to strike down Goliath with just a ‘rock’. So, I love that example. It is one of my favorite stories in the Bible.

Thank you, Renea. This is interesting. I know this story well, but I’m unclear on how it can help people know themselves.
Social criticism and conforming causes many of us bury our true self. You are suggesting that we can know ourselves only through God, as his children. I’m afraid I disagree with you. I can find my true self by myself with mindfulness and meditation. I don’t need to live my life through an omnipotent being.
Please help me to understand more deeply.

Hello Linden, When I wrote this blog I wanted to encourage people to truly understand who they are in Christ. That they can accomplish anything and be strong knowing their in the will of God.
To truly understand who we are starts with knowing the One who formed us in our mothers womb. We do make choices in life because God gave us a free will and that is what sets us apart we can choose to go our own way or choose Gods way. It is really up to us to know who we are.
I myself Choose to be a Believer of Jesus Christ My Savior, He died upon the cross so I can be saved and have Eternal Life in Heaven. I can only share my journey and If not for my Faith in God, all the people He placed in my life to pray for me, I would have died as a child. My hope is to be a blessing to others and show Gods love.
